-Not using paper towels to dry hands:
When my grandpa washes his hands, he "air dries" it <-- *involves lots of flinging and flying water droplets* instead of using paper towels OR dryers (not wasting paper towels AND electricity).
-Using paper to the max:
My grandpa doesn't trash or recycle papers that much. Instead he collects the papers that still have space for writing in a pile and re-uses them. Amazing right? Now compare to me.
Take a look at all the paper in my binders:
(going to take a picture tomorrow, hope I remember)
(oops I forgot, one day I will remember... seriously)
(seriously I think I might never get to this...)
Where do you think it goes at the end of the year?
Or maybe:
Happens EVERY SINGLE YEAR for like, pretty much every student. That's a lot of paper.
-Finishing ALL food:
My grandpa does not approve of wasting food. That includes every single crumb.
And lastly:
-Taking public transit:
This one doesn't relate to my project. Just thought I should mention it.Since my grandpa doesn't live in the city, there are probably many more ways he cuts back on producing trash that I don't know of.
